Hunter Joint Organisation with support from local councils have partnered with ZapCat, a certified social enterprise, to help the communities of Cessnock, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Muswellbrook, Singleton and Upper Hunter reduce energy bills and improve the comfort of their homes. Through this free program, renters can access expert, independent advice on reducing energy bills, making your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
ZapCat provides instant online estimates for costs, savings, and available rebates. Their expert advisors offer free virtual consultations to answer your questions and help you make confident, informed choices.

The Lake Macquarie City Council program is so popular that it's currently full! We're not able to provide advice right now, but you can still do an instant estimate. If you would like advice, please leave your details on the waitlist and we'll let you know if a spot opens up in the future.
