City of Ryde Program Terms & Conditions

City of Ryde Council:

• is promoting the ZapCat program for the benefit of the community but is not in partnership with ZapCat, nor is it directly affiliated with any installers or service providers involved in the program;
• does not vet, endorse, or recommend any specific installers or products. The vetting of installers is conducted solely by ZapCat, and Council is not involved in this process;
• is not a party to any agreement or contract between residents, businesses, ZapCat, or any installers. Any engagement or contractual arrangement is strictly between the customer, ZapCat, and the installer;
• does not provide, and is not responsible for, any advice, recommendations, or information given by ZapCat or any third-party installers. Any advice or guidance received through the program is independent of Council;
• does not warrant, guarantee, or accept responsibility for the quality, safety, performance, or outcomes of any products, services, or installations provided by ZapCat or any installers. Council is not liable for any loss, damage, or dissatisfaction arising from participation in the program or from any installation or service provided by third parties; and/or
• does not collect, store, use, or disclose any personal information provided by participants in connection with this program. All personal information is managed solely by ZapCat and/or third-party installers according to their own privacy policies. Council is not responsible for the privacy, security, or management (including legal compliance) of personal information provided to ZapCat and/or third-party installers.
